Thursday 14th Afternoon/ Night: Prize Playing System
Prize Playing System will take place on the Thursday night for all people who are present and have taken part in a workshop. The winner will have the greatest percentage of wins to losses in their particular sections. Fights will last until the first good strike, double strikes will count as a loss. The Prize Player comes forward onto the figthing area. Any other competitor canchallenge him within the weapon categories agreed on. The challengers continue until all challengers have challenged once. This will be run and will only take place on the Thursday night to those who are there for the workshops.
Part B:
Friday 15 th to Sunday 17 th of August: Competitions in the following disciplines.
The competitions will be fought on three different arenas. We will have a committee of 8 - 12 people judging the fights.The number of participants will be limited on 60 to 100. We will have a combination between a league system and a k.o. system to guarantee that every participant takes part in several fights per day.
Please note, that you can choose only one category in the 1stPriority and one in the 2nd Priority!

Competition Systems:
- League system with several fights per on each and every day. Depending upon time and numbers in some competitions you will fight all the fighters in that competition more than once.
- K.O. system will be used to decide the absolute winner in a particular section, these fights will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Safety Warning!
All unsafe or uncautious behaviour will immediatly result in the exclusion of the perpetrator from the entire event and bonus activities – without refund. All Instructors will be entitled to judge of such behaviours and take the necessary sanctions.
Equipment
Participants must ensure they possess the following necessary equipment to take part in the event
- Clothing and sports shoes adapted to indoor and outdoor use (separate pair of shoes for each use)
- Fencing Mask (Triple Weapon)
- Gorgette
- Gloves
- Arm Guards
- Ellbow-/ Knee Protection
- Gambesson/ Padded Jacket
- Ladies: Breast Protection
- Gentlemen: Box / Cup
Material of Weapons
- Rapier/ Small Sword: Steel
Shields and bucklers: should be wood or steel with a safe undamaged edge, with raw hide leather edging.
Longsword/ Sword & Buckler/ Sword & Shield/ Liberi Sword Single Handed: You have the choice between: Either use of a Fechtfeder or a Leather Covered Shinai . Both can be provided for FREE by the competition organisers or competitors can bring their own. We developped in cooperation with Stefan Roth, Seelenschmiede (www.Seelenschmiede.de) a special Leather-Sparring-Sword for Competitions. This Leather-Sparring-Sword is
- a strong and high quality Shinai
- covered with very high quality smooth leather
- altered in the cross section to be similar to a European Sword
- with a steel cross guard, leather covered
- about 1 kg heavy
- and 120 cm long
